Born in Appleby Magna, Leicestershire.

1969 - 93. Senior Lecturer & Head of Department, Bedford College of Physical Education

1993- 97. Head of Art Education. De Montford University Bedford.

1995 - 99. External Examiner for Art. B.Ed., & M.A. at Queen's University , Belfast, & Anglia University

1997. Early Retirement to become a Professional Artist

2000. Founder of the Fellowship of Professional & Amateur Artists

2003. Prize winner of four National Open Competitions
